Michael Dugan started Thrill Street Entertainment, Inc., in 1997, as a freelance film, television, and commercial production and marketing company. In the ten years, Michael has operated this company, it has produced or collaborated in the production of hundreds of direct response national television commercials, successful infomercials, three Emmy-award winning television series, and an award-winning feature film that has been running on HBO, Cinemax, and in international markets for the last several years.

Michael’s credits include writing, directing, and producing multi-million dollar generating infomercials including: The Slim Down Solution, Roomba-Robotic Vacuum Cleaner, Infinity Razor, Lean Bean Coffee, and The Nations Health Prescription Discount Card. These projects alone have generated over $750 million dollars in direct response marketing revenue.

Michael also created and produced the recruitment advertising for the CIGNA Insurance Medicare Part D Prescription Insurance Program. This multi-million dollar campaign resulted in the successful recruitment of nearly 500,000 Medicare Participants for the CIGNATURE Medicare Prescription Insurance Plan in just six months.

In the motion picture world, Michael wrote, directed, and produced the teen comedy, “Raging Hormones”. The film won the awards for "Best Comedy", "Best SoundTrack", and “Audience Appreciation” at the New York Independent Film Festival, and Michael won the award for "Best Director" at the same competition.

Michael’s clients include major Fortune 500 corporations, especially in the high technology and pharmaceutical industries, including: IBM, Pfizer, Boehringer-Ingleheim, Glaxo, Apple Computer, Hewlett-Packard, Procter & Gamble, Microsoft, Ford, Roche, NASA, TAP Pharmaceuticals, Bell Atlantic, and Abbott Labs. Michael has written over 400 half hour weekly programs for the ongoing series “Today’s Environment”, “Healthy Solutions”, “.COM”, “Technology Today”, and “Today’s Health”. Six of these programs were nominated for Emmy Awards, and three actually won the trophy. Michael has also directed over 100 of these programs.

Freelance - Writer- Director-Producer- (1982-1997)

For over fifteen years, Michael succeeded as a freelance writer, director, and producer of feature films, television programs, and commercials. In Los Angeles, he worked from 1982-1993, and in 1993, he relocated to South Florida where he continued to create award winning commercials, television programs, feature films, and high impact direct response campaigns.

During that time, Michael earned writing credits on ongoing daily television programs including: "Days of Our Lives", "Loving", "Santa Barbara", and "General Hospital". As a screenwriter, he sold over ten feature films and Movie-of-the-Week scripts to Tri-Star Pictures, Columbia Pictures, SONY, NBC, and several independent production companies.

Michael wrote and directed the daily television series: "Mousercise" on The Disney Channel which aired seven days a week for over ten years. While working with Dick Clark Productions, Michael also earned credits on "The Golden Globe Awards", "The Country Music Awards", "Bloopers and Practical Jokes", and several other network specials for ABC, NBC, and CBS.

Benton & Bowles Advertising Agency, New York - Account Executive and Senior Copywriter (1979-1982)

Michael started his career as an Account Executive at Benton & Bowles Advertising in New York (now D'Arcy, McManus, Benton, & Bowles). After his first year, he was moved into the creative department where he became a creative supervisor within two years for his work on Cool Whip Topping, Vicks Nyquil, Bounce Fabric Softener, and Gravy Train.
